    Quote

    Build the scope and price the work using your own client and project rate cards. Include labour, vehicles, equipment, travel, minimum call-outs and day, night, weekend and public holiday rates. Once accepted, the quote becomes a project without anyone entering the information again.

    Planning

    Turn the accepted work into an operational plan. Record the site, work stages, dates, traffic guidance requirements, crew and equipment needs, client instructions and supporting documents. Prepare and manage TGSs, TMPs and other planning requirements from the same project record.

    Permits and approvals

    Identify, prepare and track every approval required for the work. Manage council permits, road occupancy licences, TfNSW approvals and other authority requirements, including reference numbers, conditions, documents, fees, dates and expiry warnings. Everyone can see what is required, lodged, approved or about to expire.

    Bookings

    Create individual or recurring shifts under the project. Each booking carries through the correct client, site, scope, plans, permit requirements, contacts and rates. Changes remain connected to the project, so the operations team is always working from current information.

    Allocations

    Assign suitably qualified people, vehicles, plant and equipment to each shift. OMBR checks availability, overlapping bookings, competencies, licences, fatigue, inductions and site restrictions, helping the allocator resolve conflicts before the crew arrives on site.

  6. 06

    On site with the OMBR App

    The crew receives everything needed for the shift on their phone, including the address, contacts, plans, instructions, allocated resources and required forms. They can sign on and off, record breaks and hours, complete checks, upload photos and submit the works docket for client sign-off, even when reception is unreliable.

  7. 07

    Payroll, billing and accounting

    Approved field hours and signed dockets flow into payroll and billing. OMBR applies the correct pay conditions, overtime, allowances and client rates, then prepares timesheets and invoice lines without double entry. Review the information, finalise it and send it to your connected accounting system with a complete audit trail.

The office side runs in a browser, and it is built to work in the one on your phone. Quote, book, allocate, chase a permit or check a docket from a ute at a depot at 2am, without dragging a desktop layout around a small screen. Crews have the OMBR App for their half of the job. Everyone else just opens the site.

On the road

The crew’s half of the job, on the phone they already carry.

A controller starting a night shift on the Hume does not want to fill in a form. They want to know where to stand, who else is on, what plant is coming and when they can go home. The OMBR App gives them that, and gives the office the record it needs in return.
